“Downfall Theatre” by Mindpatrol has been written from June 2012 to April 2013 and the recordings took place a few months later.
This concept-album tells the story of a man initially being at the top of his life. Unfortunately, some years after marrying a wonderful girl and becoming a father, the love of his life breaks up with him which leads to a tragic downfall.
This downfall is illustrated by the different styles chosen for each song, be it the sweet ballad “Forever Mine” some heroic power metal like “To Heaven Again” or those songs with a darker approach like the highly aggressive “Depulsoris Ira” or the black metallic finale in “My Final Sin”.
